   Hi Tim. There are lots of great places around East TN to learn to paddle. Unfortunately you just missed the Chota kayak school, but you may want to start with their site (http://www.discoveret.org/chota/) to learn about other upcoming events. Also you can check with the TSRA group out of Nashville at http://www.paddletsra.org. You also may want to drop in to River Sports on Sutherland Ave and talk to them. They can be a great resource to help you.

   Hi! My name is Tim and I'm wanting to learn to do whitewater kayaking. I have rafted for years and it's time to kick it up a notch. Does anyone offer an intro course on whitewater? Would it be beneficial to do roll training in a flat water boat? Thanks in advance for all of the stupid questions that I may throw out. :) Tim.
