Flatwater Paddling

The recreational paddler can find numerous lakes and rivers to float in the Knoxville and surrounding areas. Access to these waters can be from pull-offs along the roads that parallel the waterway or boat ramps and docks at our local waterfront parks. We strongly recommend checking river flows before paddling any dam-controlled or free-flowing river.
