On any given day, you'll find people enjoying this multi-use greenway — walking their dogs, trail running, and riding bikes and scooters. Beautiful hardwood forests fringe the borders of the green space while small groves offer shade within the valley. The trail winds through Victor Ashe Park and connects to the Northwest Greenway along Green Heron Creek, a tributary of Third Creek. Along the way, the greenway passes by several horse and llama farms. There is also a giant painted frog rock for kids (and adults) to rest upon. After your leashed pup accompanies you along the greenway, let him enjoy some leash-free romping at Dogwood Park adjacent to the playground area. For cross-country trail runners, the nature trail winds through the woods and over the fields making a 1.5 mile loop around the park.
