The Lakeshore Greenway circumvents Lakeshore Park where grand old trees dot the open spaces of this rolling sanctuary. The rolling terrain of the Park present several challenging hills, either direction, to test your endurance level. From the trailhead, the highest point in the Park, there are stunning views overlooking the Park out to Fort Loudoun Lake, and then the distant rise of the Smoky Mountains. As the trail winds down the hillside it contours the lake, travels past the sporting fields and loops around to the lush lawns that surround the Lakeshore Institute. Future connection plans will link north to the Papermill Bluff Greenway and east to Bearden Village Greenway.

Note that there are sections along the greenway that are not accessible.
