On the northwestern edge of the school, the Northwest Middle School Park is a recreational haven. There are 2 soccer fields and 2 tennis courts as well as plenty of open space for your choice of lawn play. Put your skates on for fun on the roller hockey court or let the kids play on the playground and then enjoy a snack under the gazebo. Walkers and runners can take a tour around the Northwest Greenway. The main park loop is a figure eight but has a connector trail that passes by a friendly llama and several horse farms as it makes its way over to the Victor Ashe Greenway in Victor Ashe Park. Use the Pleasant Ridge Greenway to make a complete loop from the school over to Victor Ashe Park and back via the Vistor Ashe Greenway.
