Greenway connects two parks with the neighborhoods

The Sterchi Hills Soccer Complex (AYSO 337) abuts the northeast end of Tommy Schumpert Park, off Rifle Range Road, while the playground, tennis and basketball courts reside on Dry Gap Pike a couple miles west. Connecting these two is a paved 2-mile stretch of greenway. The soccer complex hosts 6 soccer fields along with concessions and restrooms, while Sterchi Hills Park features 2 tennis courts, a basketball court and a handicap accessible playground. There are picnic and restroom facilities at both parks. The scenic Sterchi Hills Greenway meanders through several neighborhoods along rolling hills that offer distant ridgetop views plus an occasional brush alongside the creek's bank. The greenway is a favorite among it's multi-users!
