With blueway access to the Tennessee River and natural trails to explore in the woods and ridges surrounding the park, this is a great adventure park. Anglers can enjoy bank fishing or setup on the long fishing pier. Paddlers can trolley around the inlet or head out to the main river. The seven plus miles of multi-use singletrack trails contour the shoreline and climb the ridges, twisting through the woods, ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate.

Update March 2017: Knox County crews began the groundwork to build another 3 miles of trails at the back of IC King Park. Along with new trails there will be a picnic shelter, dog park, playground, rest rooms and new entrance for parking.
