With blueway access to the Tennessee River and natural trails to explore in the woods and ridges surrounding the park, this is a great adventure park. Anglers can enjoy bank fishing or setup on the long fishing pier. Paddlers can trolley around the inlet or head out to the main river. The 8 miles of multi-use singletrack trails contour the shoreline and climb the ridges, twisting through the woods, ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate.

The new 10-acre expansion of the park features a 2-acre dog park that includes a shelter, some benches and a water fountain as well as separate sections for large and small dogs. Visitors will enjoy a new playground, picnic pavilion, and restrooms. New trails connect to the existing I.C. King trail system just behind the dog park. The new entrance is off Maryville Pike and includes 40 parking spaces.
